Reflections

On The Outside

Sometimes it is just nice to open the front door and look outside and take a breath of fresh air. There is a lot to be said about who we are on the outside and who we are on the inside.

Best Friends

This past week Brittany has been studying at Burt Silverman's painting and drawing workshop in upstate new york. Needless to say, I miss her and have been thinking about her all week. Tomorrow she comes home and I can't hardly wait to see here again.

San Diego Wedding

Brittany's sister Nicole was married to Skyler King this past weekend in San Diego CA. It was a beautiful wedding at the San Diego LDS Temple. I thought that since I was there, I would take the opportunity to try out a few "wedding" shots.

Reflections

I have always been fascinated by taking pictures of reflections. I think that it mimics the nature of a photograph, which is after all a reflection. In fact, everything that we see is a reflection because in order to actually see, light has to be reflected off the object and to our eyes. Interesting concept to let you mind gnaw on for a while.

I have always been fascinated by long shutter speeds with low light situations. This was taken from an overhead crossway.

Derek and Max

I met Derek over the summer at Stores online. We were co-workers and now we are in the same LDS student ward. This is a picture of Derek and his son Max.
